Different Origins, Shared Ground
Crystal Healing draws on the idea that crystals carry and direct subtle energy, and can be placed on or around the body to support balance and healing. Pranic Healing works directly with the practitioner's own trained ability to sense and direct prana.
The two come from different traditions, but they share a common foundation: the belief that the body's energy field, not just its physical structure, plays a role in health and wellbeing.
What Crystals Contribute
In a combined approach, crystals are often used to help stabilise or amplify the effect of energy work in a specific area, or to provide an ongoing, passive support between sessions — for example, keeping a particular crystal nearby during the day or overnight.
This can be especially useful for people who want some form of ongoing support but aren't able to attend frequent in-person sessions.
What Pranic Healing Contributes
Pranic Healing adds an active, targeted component — a trained practitioner scanning for specific imbalances and directly cleansing and energising them, rather than relying on a general or passive effect.
This combination means concerns can be addressed directly during a session, with crystals supporting the results afterward.
A Typical Combined Session
A combined session generally begins the same way any Pranic Healing session would — with a scan to identify congested or depleted areas — followed by cleansing and energising. Specific crystals may then be recommended or placed based on what was found during the scan.
Clients are usually given guidance on which crystals to keep and how to care for them between visits.
Choosing What's Right for You
If you're looking for a hands-off, ongoing form of support to complement other work, Crystal Healing on its own may be a good starting point. If you have a specific concern you want addressed directly, Pranic Healing — with or without crystals — is generally the more targeted option.
Many long-term clients eventually use both, treating Pranic Healing as the active work and crystals as a supportive layer in between.

Can I do Crystal Healing without learning Pranic Healing?
Yes. Crystal Healing sessions and guidance are available on their own, and don't require prior Pranic Healing training.
Do the two practices conflict with each other?
No. They're generally considered complementary, addressing energy from slightly different angles.
How do I know which crystals to use?
This is usually determined during a session, based on what's found while scanning the specific area of concern, rather than chosen generically.
Is Crystal Healing a substitute for a Pranic Healing session?
It's better viewed as a complement. For a specific, active concern, a Pranic Healing session is generally the more direct approach.
