A Scientist of the Soul
Grand Master Choa Kok Sui — known to students simply as GMCKS — was born on 15 August 1952 in Cebu City, Philippines. Trained as a chemical engineer and a successful businessman, he brought a rigorous, experimental mindset to a subject most treated as pure mysticism.
From his early teens he studied a wide range of spiritual and esoteric traditions, including yoga, Chinese chi kung, Theosophy, Kabbalah and Rosicrucian teachings. Over more than a decade of research and experimentation, he synthesised these studies into a single, teachable, repeatable system for healing with the body's own energy, or prana.
Students often describe him as a bridge between science and spirituality — someone who insisted every technique be tested, validated and taught in a way anyone could learn and apply.
"Healing is active meditation. Healing is meditation in motion."— Grand Master Choa Kok Sui
